Creating a Permanent Holistic Center for Embodied Development & Holistic Health
This Villa offers us the unique opportunity to grow something that is currently missing in Ghent: a stable, warm and professional space where bodyworkers, holistic therapists, facilitators and intimacy coaches can work alongside each other under one roof.
A Permanent Center for Embodied Development
Our long-term vision is to develop this into a permanent holistic center for embodied personal development, psychosocial wellbeing and quality of life. A place where people can release, learn, experience and embody things that often have no clear place in traditional healthcare, therapy or education.
We are building a new kind of fitness center: not one focused on muscles, performance or appearance, but on emotional resilience, relational and intimacy skills, body awareness and psychosocial health.
This space responds to a growing societal need: the lack of environments where adults can develop emotional, relational and bodily competence in a safe, low-threshold and embodied way. Especially in times of increasing isolation, stress and mental health challenges, this center can function as a preventive space that supports personal growth, embodiment and human connection.
By bringing diverse disciplines together under one roof, we want to create a shared space for prevention, embodied education, holistic health and meaningful personal development.
Who is this project calling?
To make this possible, we are looking for different kinds of people who want to help carry the next chapter of the Erlebnisraum: practically, professionally or financially.
Bodyworkers, Facilitators & Holistic Practitioners
Are you a bodyworker, tantra teacher, yoga practitioner, sex coach, somatic therapist, intimacy coach, holistic healer or facilitator?
We are looking for practitioners who need a regular, well-held space for one-on-one sessions, classes, workshops, circles or small group work.
You can:
- Rent cozy equipped rooms for individual sessions
- Pre-book recurring calendar slots for classes, workshops or group sessions
- Become part of a broader professional network of embodied and holistic practitioners
- Work in a space where your discipline is understood, respected and held within a wider vision of human wellbeing
Project Partners & Financial Supporters
To make the continuation and development of this space possible, we are looking for people who want to support the project financially.
This could be through a loan, a structural contribution, a room sponsorship or another form of financial partnership. We are not looking for passive investors only, but for people who understand the value of a space like this and want to help make it stable and sustainable.
You can:
- Support a low-threshold space for holistic health, prevention and embodied education
- Contribute to the practical and financial foundation of the project
- Become part of the circle that helps carry the vision into reality
Active Contributors
A space like this also needs hands, hearts and minds.
If you feel connected to the vision and want to contribute in a practical way, we would love to hear from you. We need do-ers who can help with refurbishing, gardening, marketing, communication, planning, maintenance or general coordination.
You can:
- Contribute your skills in a practical and meaningful way
- Help shape a space that supports many people and practitioners
- Support the project without needing to be a facilitator or financial partner
- Be part of the operational backbone that makes the house alive, beautiful and sustainable
Imagine the Immersions
What Could Happen in This Space
The Erlebnisraum has the potential to become a home for many forms of embodied, holistic and relational work.
We imagine a space where people can come for workshops, one-on-one sessions, group circles and processes, bodywork, coaching, movement, integration and forms of personal development that do not always fit into conventional settings.
The exact structure is still being explored. This could include recurring room rental, shared calendar blocks, workshop partnerships, individual practitioners using the space regularly or other forms of collaboration. What matters now is to find the people who feel aligned with the vision and want to help make the next chapter possible.
This is not about creating a vague community house. It is about creating a professional, warm and reliable place where different disciplines can support human wellbeing, embodiment, emotional growth and relational competence.
